Mindfulness in your Workplace

Copper Beech Institute is a refuge of calm—a community of mindfulness practitioners based virtually and in-person at our West Hartford, Connecticut location. Here, we envision mindfulness practice transforming the daily lives and personal relationships of our growing community. We also envision it stirring action at every level of society, affecting a healing shift in how we relate to one another and the earth. Our programs help you cultivate mindfulness, compassion and personal well-being, helping you reconnect with the things that matter most in life.

All Are Welcome

Copper Beech Institute is an independent, non-sectarian, non-profit organization that teaches mindfulness and meditation. These programs, retreats, and courses are led by renowned teachers who are beloved locally, as well as those who are nationally and internationally known. All of them are passionate about sharing their wisdom, as well as practices that heal, transform and empower us to live fearlessly with joy and resilience.

It’s also an oasis of growth and transformation no matter your background or experience. Our tranquil campus offers quiet places for you to rest, creative food to nourish your health, 48 wooded acres for you to wander and a compassionate staff to support your growth and personal exploration. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner of meditation and yoga, or are new to the practice and looking for an opportunity to explore mindfulness and contemplation, we encourage you to come and discover something new here.

Copper Beech Institute is located at 303 Tunxis Road, West Hartford, CT on the beautiful campus of Holy Family Passionist Monastery and Retreat Center, a Catholic monastery. When you arrive for a program, we will welcome you at Entrance 5, the Copper Beech main entrance. Because we are located within a large facility, there is considerable navigation and wayfinding required within the building. It is important to note that Copper Beech Institute is not religiously affiliated in any way and we welcome people from countless spiritual backgrounds along with people with no particular spiritual affiliation. Through a lease agreement with the monastery, in-person Copper Beech programming is held in spaces where Christian art and iconography is displayed. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
