ANNOUNCING ONGOING MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
GROUPS AT COPPER BEECH INSTITUTE

West Hartford, Conn. – February 6, 2017 – Copper Beech Institute offers two opportunities for people to learn and practice mindfulness meditation with the support of community:

  • Candlelight Meditation meets every Wednesday evening from 7–8:30 p.m. with beginners’ instruction at 6:15 p.m.
  • Breath by Breath Meditation is offered on the first and third Mondays of every month from noon–1 p.m. with beginners’ instruction at 11:15 a.m.

All are welcome, including newcomers to meditation and experienced meditators who wish to deepen their practice. Each gathering includes time for meditation, discussion, and sharing. An offering of $5–15 is suggested.

Meditation is often considered a solitary practice, but meditating with others provides encouragement, inspiration, and support in developing a valuable skill that can lower stress, improve concentration, increase self-awareness, and lead to greater happiness and compassion.
