IDEAL FOR: All Levels
Candlelight Conversations provide a forum to explore the connection between contemplative practice and vital social issues. Engaged citizenship in which people take an active role in their communities relies upon honest dialogue and sincere listening about our common convictions and diverging viewpoints. Candlelight Conversations provide a space for true exchange where people deeply encounter one another in a spirit of authenticity and compassion. Each Candlelight Conversation will include meditation, mindful conversation and teaching concluding with tea and refreshments.
For our first Candlelight Conversation of 2019, we will hold space for shares and reflections on the topic of immigration. Facilitated by Miranda Chapman and featuring Copper Beech Institute Board Member Helen BetGivargis, an immigrant and advocate for justice, we will listen and speak to the various experiences of immigrants within and beyond the United States. We invite you to join us for this opportunity to learn more about an important issue of our times.
All are welcome. No registration necessary. Free-will offering.

January marks the completion of my first 90 days as the new Executive Director of Copper Beech Institute and I couldn't be more grateful for the warm welcome of this community that is made up of our board, staff, facilitators and participants. Each of you in your own particular way help to make Copper Beech what it is, and helped to get CBI to it's current moment of evolution. With that said, I am excited to share that many inspired changes are afoot! ✨
