Join clinical psychologist Vamsi Koneru and somatic educator Sandrine Harris for a daylong workshop to deepen your understanding of trauma. We will explore the prevalence of trauma and its impact on our nervous system, mind-body health and relationships. Through exploration of practices associated with trauma-informed mindfulness, gentle movement, and engaged learning, we will develop ways to begin the compassion-filled work of healing.
Sandrine and Vamsi look forward to welcoming you into this process with skilled guidance and drawing from their experiences with trauma-informed mindfulness meditation, Somatic Experiencing® and Feldenkrais®.
Individuals from all walks of life are welcome. No experience with therapeutic movement or meditation is needed to attend. This retreat is an offering of embodied learning, experiential practice, and pathways to restoring health.
Please wear comfortable clothing to move in, shoes for outdoor walking meditation practice, a journal, and anything else which brings you comfort for a full-day experience.

January marks the completion of my first 90 days as the new Executive Director of Copper Beech Institute and I couldn't be more grateful for the warm welcome of this community that is made up of our board, staff, facilitators and participants. Each of you in your own particular way help to make Copper Beech what it is, and helped to get CBI to it's current moment of evolution. With that said, I am excited to share that many inspired changes are afoot! ✨
